Lake Louise

Small path leading to Lake Louise

Lake Louise is another beautiful glacial lake located in the Banff national park in Alberta, Canada.

The lake is fed by the Victoria glacier which overlooks the lake.

The emerald color of the water in the lake is due to the rock flour washed down by melted water from the glacier.

A luxury resort hotel built in front of the lake, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, complements this scenic destination, making it one of the most popular tourist destination in this part of Canada.
