Bow Falls on Bow River

Bow River

Bow river flows in the Canadian province of Alberta and meanders through the Canadian Rockies
into Bow Lake.

Its name is due to the reeds that grow along the banks of the river. The natives use the reeds to make bows.

Bow Fall is a waterfall on Bow River and is of just a few meters high.

Every year it attracts a great number of visitors because of its proximity to Banff, a beautiful Canadian town.
